Generate Password:
Log into the inefi Portal as an Administrator
STEP 1: Select the Administration Tab
STEP 2: Select Licenses
STEP 3: Click the customer name
STEP 4: If no password exists, click “ Generate Password ”
STEP 5: Click "Save"
STEP 6: Click "Save" on the pop-out Window
Note
It is recommended that you change your password periodically to enforce security. Please be aware that offline devices will require time to synchronize with the new password. If the password has changed multiple times since the device is online, the device may need to be manually provisioned.
The Windows agent supports two installation methods.
Interactive Installation:

Download or copy the inefi Spotlight installer from the inefi Spotlight portal to your desired location.

Unzip the compression zip file.

Ensure that the installer and the modify.ini file are located in the same directory.

Double-click the executable file.

Click “Next” through the installation package

Click “Finish”

The device will prompt for a reboot.

Following the system reboot, the agent will automatically connect to the inefi Spotlight Service.
Silent Installation:

Download or copy the inefi Spotlight installer from inefi Spotlight portal to your desired location.

Unzip the compression zip file.

Ensure that the installer and the modify.ini file are located in the same directory.

Open a Command Prompt with Administrator Privileges and navigate to the folder with the installer and modify.ini

Run the command: Inefi_v1.X.XX.exe /verysilent

(Replace the X.XX with the version name of the EXE you’re attempting to install)
Promotion Installation:
The inefi Spotlight Agent is preinstalled on certified devices.

Open the " inefi Spotlight Agent " App

Input DEVICE NAME, CUSTOMER ID, and PASSWORD (Generated through UI)

Click Connect

The inefi Agent will connect and register to the cloud.
